Careers Pathways for International Students

International students have access to the College’s Careers Advisors.  In conjunction with the Director of International Students, International Students are invited to make an appointment with the Careers Advisors or The Director of International Students to discuss their careers options.  Students will be provided with information and guidance so that they can make informed choices for their future career.

The Careers Department arranges tertiary liaison information visits from universities and polytechnics, as well as the Annual Careers Expo, held in the second term and Glendowie College.

Year 12 and 13 International students are also invited to attend the International Open Day at the University of Auckland where they receive information about courses available and attend mini-lectures in their areas of interest. They are also able to talk to lecturers and current under-graduate International students about their experiences studying at the University of Auckland.

New Zealand University Entrance is recognised worldwide and International students who gain University Entrance can apply for admission to Universities in New Zealand, Australia and in other countries.
