Scholarship Parents Information Evening

The College invites parents of Year 12 and 13 students who are interested in undertaking NZQA Scholarship examinations this year to attend an information evening.  

NZQA Scholarship examinations are subject specific and in addition to the external NCEA examinations. The College offers a comprehensive scholarship programme to support high achieving students.

What is Scholarship?

  • New Zealand Scholarship provides recognition and monetary reward to top students.
  • Scholarship examinations enable candidates to be assessed against challenging standards, and are demanding for the most able candidates in each subject.
  • Students can sit Scholarship in a subject or multiple subjects in which they are achieving highly.
  • Scholarships are awarded to the top 3% of students in each subject nationally.

Last year, the College gained a total of 30 Scholarships, including 4 Outstanding Scholarships.
