The crazy crew of fundraising parents, are generally aided by our very own Gordon (DP).  Our monthly meetings include planning, negotiating, debating and laughter and are anything but boring.  As a high tech PA, we have gone paperless and are trying out a new booking system for all our events - trybooking.co.nz.  Check this out.

This year we are raising money for the Quad redevelopment that all our students use, more specifically the plants and planting. 

 

 

We love to see new faces and the more members we have, the more we are able to achieve, and, ultimately, enhance the school for our children and future generations.

The Association’s job is to foster community spirit among parents and also raise money for the school.  See our varied calendar with events and fundraisers below.

Our movie nights are usually a sell out, and we have three theatres booked for "Mamma Mia 2" at Hoyts Mission Bay in July - one reserved for students only.  It will be a great night of fun, laughter and singing. 

      

 

We are running our soon to be famous “Coffee, Cake and Crepes Cafe” at "Fun Run" at the end of Term 3.  Come check us out after the run. 

The "Fun Run" is an opportunity for the college to link with the Glendowie/St Heliers community as everyone, young or old, is invited to take part.  We challenge your community group, school or college house to enter and claim bragging rights for the most participants. 

Put on your smile and gather the family and take advantage of our "Timeless Photography Portrait Fundraiser" - $800 worth of photography services and prints for only $99 - owned by our very own former student Lisa Harrington.

Being on the PA is a great way to feel involved in the school and find out a bit more about what goes on than what you may learn from your teenager!  It is also a forum for you to give feedback to the staff and board member and have a say on proposed changes.  And we have a lot to say!!!

We meet roughly once a month in the College Staffroom on Thursdays at 7pm for about an hour.  Meetings are also attended by a senior staff member and a Trustee of the Board who each give an update on events.
