The Ministry of Education in consultation with NZEI and PPTA have allocated Accord Teacher Only Days to support the implementation of changes to NCEA and the further strengthening of curriculum, progress and achievement practice.
The first day was held on 19 November 2020 with the second Accord Day on Thursday, 13 May. Two further days have been allocated for later in the year.
The focus for Thursday, 13 May will be on Mana Orite Mo Te Matauranga Maori and on Strengthening Literacy and Numeracy. It is important that teachers are prepared for the NCEA changes that will be taking place.
