The PPTA have confirmed that industrial action proposed for this week will go ahead. As almost all teachers at Glendowie College are PPTA members, the following actions take place.
On Tuesday 9 May, all Year 12 students will not be taught by PPTA members and are to be rostered home. Teaching of all other year levels will continue as normal.
On Thursday 11 May, all PPTA members in the Auckland region will be on strike. All students are requested to stay home on that date.
If making alternative arrangements for care is difficult, we can supervise a small number of students if required. They are to report to school Reception at 8:45am.
School buses will run as normal.
We know that this is inconvenient for parents and students alike, and apologise for the inconvenience.
