The Glendowie College ‘Learn to Row’ Programme is starting soon. This is for any Year 9 to12 students who have not rowed for the college before and who might be interested in joining the Rowing squad for the next Summer Season.
We run this programme so that students have a chance to experience the sport of Rowing in a reduced format to see if it is right for them. The programme includes a mix of on-water rowing (Sunday mornings) and early morning land-based training (2 x per week). This runs from 25 June through to 13 August, and all participants must be able to swim and will be tested. The cost of the programme is $220 per student.
We will be having an Information Evening in the College Staffroom on Wednesday 21 June at 7pm.
