At Glendowie College, our service initiatives are a vibrant and meaningful part of school life, designed to empower students to make a real difference in their communities. Each year, our four houses select a charity to support, encouraging healthy competition and a strong sense of purpose as students collaborate on fundraising events and awareness campaigns. We are also proud participants in the Student Volunteer Army Programme, which recognises students' service contributions through a national badge system. By logging their volunteer hours (whether through school activities or independent efforts) students earn official badges that celebrate their commitment to helping others. Beyond these, our school offers a wide range of service opportunities, including an active Sustainability Group, a Year 9 Service Programme, and Year 10 Community Projects, among many others. These initiatives not only foster a spirit of giving but also help our students grow as compassionate, responsible leaders who are actively engaged in making a positive impact.
