Fifty scholarships were achieved by Glendowie College students in 2025. This almost matches the amazing fifty-four scholarships gained in 2024. These exams are the most demanding academic assessments in New Zealand. Only 3% of students gain a ‘Scholarship’ pass and only 0.3% gain an 'Outstanding' grade. The college received three Outstanding grades in 2025 in History, Painting and Statistics.

Students received scholarships from a diverse range of subjects, with sixteen different subjects gaining scholarships from Accounting to Statistics and there was also a large group of younger students who did incredibly well.

These results were a huge accomplishment for all the students and teachers involved in the Scholarship programme.

A morning tea was held to celebrate the success of our students with their teachers and families.
